As per the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) Classification.

Guidelines for SME Classifying Companies:

In addition to supplier employee headcount and annual turnover, the following compliance requirements must be met:

  • Companies that have Large Companies as Shareholders or Parent Companies will not be classified as SMEs.
  • Companies with the incorporation types SAOG, SAOC, or Foreign Branches will also not be classified as SMEs.

Note:

  • Your JSRS Certification Fee is based on your Company Classification (as per the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA)).
  • Any company found to have a changed status of SME to Non-SME as per the guidelines given during their period of Certification, will be re-classified as Non-SME and are bound to pay the revised JSRS Certification fee accordingly.
